Manchester United's Eric Bailly ruled out of Africa Cup of Nations with knee ligament injury

Eric Bailly was starting his first Premier League game since 3rd February.

The duo were forced off mid-way through the second half in the Red Devils' clash with Chelsea at Old Trafford on Sunday, with Bailly in particular looking in severe pain after a collision with Mateo Kovacic left him holding his knee.

Manchester United have confirmed the severity of the injury picked up by Eric Bailly during the club's draw with Chelsea.

The Africa Cup of Nations is from 21 June to 19 July in Egypt.
