Dallas Keuchel rumors: Braves emerge as favorites

Tim Brown of Yahoo Sports reports the deal is for one-year, $13 million ($20 million prorated). The Braves are expected to announce the signing after he passes a physical Friday in Atlanta.

As of Monday - the beginning of the 2019 MLB Draft - both Keuchel and Craig Kimbrel were no longer tied to draft-pick compensation as a result of being tendered and rejecting one-year, $17.9-million qualifying offers from their previous teams.

During his time in Houston, he had amassed a 3.66 ERA (109 ERA+) and 2.76 strikeout-to-walk ratio in almost 200 appearances, and won the AL Cy Young award in 2015.
