A preliminary police report has identified the blowout as a probable cause of the crash, reports Mundo Deportivo.

Reyes' Mercedes S Class, pictured, was completely destroyed after it rolled over and burst into flames after leaving the road.

Reyes died in a tragic accident recorded at 1140 hours on the A-376 motorway, from Seville to Utrera on Saturday.

He was reportedly travelling at a speed of 147mph at the time of the crash.

Also in the vehicle was Reyes' two cousins, Jonathan Reyes and Juan Manuel Calderon. According to reports in Spain, the footballer was on his way home to his wife and three children after training, having not been picked by his club Extremadura to play against Cádiz.

The funeral took place at the nearby Santa Maria de Mesa and his coffin was draped in the Sevilla flag.

Reyes' eldest son penned an emotional tribute to his dad after his shock auto crash death.
