Aston Villa's Premier League fixtures for the 2019/20 season have been confirmed, with the Championship play-off winners set to visit Tottenham on the opening weekend.

The 21-year-old admits he cannot be sure of where he's playing his football next season, stating that a return to Villa Park could be an option.

He came through the youth system at hometown club Exeter City before being snapped up by Chelsea in 2017.

Despite his tender years, Ampadu emerged as a regular member of Chelsea's first-team squad this past season, even going on to notch a none-too-shabby 8 appearances across all competitions.

Learning the interest from the Red Devils, Real Betis are exclusively focussing on a bidding war for their midfielder. However, the former France worldwide has yet to make up his mind and continues to wait for offers from bigger clubs.

As per the aforementioned report from the Guardian, Dean Smith's Premier League newcomers hope to coax Ampadu away from London this summer on a loan deal.

The 21-year-old has since returned to Stamford Bridge, where he is hoping to be given a first-team opportunity with the club now serving a two-window transfer ban.

Chelsea are under a two-window transfer embargo right now, something they have appealed and taken to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) after an initial appeal to FIFA's Appeal committee was rejected in April.

Chelsea legend John Terry, now the assistant manager at Villa Park, is said to have recommended Ampadu to the Villans' board, after training alongside the Welshman during a brief stint back with the Blues last summer. Ampadu, who played more for his country than his club last season, is set to be targeted by Villa should Chelsea decide that the Wales worldwide would benefit from playing regular first-team football elsewhere for a year.
