Asus says that the ROG Phone 2 will launch in July with a 120 Hz display

Asus seems happy to oblige, with this display sitting at 43-inches while retaining all of the gaming features you could want.

Rumours regarding ASUS' 2nd generation ROG Phone have to surface online. The Taiwanese firm has now confirmed that the ROG Phone 2 will be arriving with a display that will offer a refresh rate 120 Hz. The translated post also notes that video game "Under The One Man" will support the new refresh rate, with more compatible titles to be announced later.

The other specifications of the ROG Phone 2 are now under the wraps. This will allow users to experience a more immersive and smooth experience with the high-end Android games. We might also see a refined cooling mechanism and likely the notorious overdesigned gaming phone look with sharp lines and LED accents colors.

Google Photos File Syncing With Google Drive Ends July 10
Photos and videos in both accounts will stay in their respective apps and will not be deleted when the changes happen in July. Today, new photos and videos that appear in a user's Google Photos automatically appear in that user's Google Drive as well.

Other specs for the device are under wraps for the time being, but we can hazard a guess for a Snapdragon 855 chipset and up to 12 GB of RAM on the phone. Of course, just like its predecessor, the next ROG phone should include a plethora of accessories to improve the gaming experience like a ROG exclusive gamepad.

Further, the poster also confirms that ASUS has entered into a partnership of sorts with China's Tencent Games, leading some to believe that some games from the Tencent Games will be fully optimised for the upcoming phone's new display.

Most recently, we saw the OnePlus 7 Pro released with the first 90Hz AMOLED screen, which earned DisplayMate's highest rating of an A+.
