Cardi B Indicted On Multiple Felonies In NY Strip Club Brawl

Cardi B continues to make headlines for more than her music and on again, off again marriage to rapper Offset.

The women in question, Jade and Baddie G. are bartenders at the strip club and claim that they were injured during the fight last August when Cardi's people began throwing bottles and chairs.

Born Belcalis Almanzar, and a former stripper herself, Cardi B was at the club in College Point because her husband Offset was performing with his hip hop trio Migos, according to police.

The 26-year-old "Press" rapstress has been accused of felony attempted assault, misdemeanor reckless endangerment, assault and more for allegedly ordering an attack in a NY strip club. Prosecutors from Queens informed NBC News and The Associated Press of the rapper's involvement in the incident dating back to 2018. Other charges reportedly include assault, conspiracy and harassment.

Fans were rather surprised, some realising for the first time that Carrie does not have a star on the Walk of Fame. And her on-screen brother Luke Skywalker, i.e.co-star Mark Hamill has been campaigning for it since a while now.

The two heavy counts are for felony attempted assault with intent to cause serious physical injury.

Last month, prosecution sources told TMZ that they made a decision to take the case to the grand jury because of the information that was discovered during their investigation, but they wouldn't specify what that information was.

The "Please Me" rapper originally faces two misdemeanors for assault and reckless endangerment. The outlet says the indictment for the case won't be unsealed until Tuesday afternoon. The Blast and ABC 7 report the deal would have called for Cardi to plead guilty to misdemeanor assault in the third degree.
