The Blues are faced with the dilemma of finding a new handler for their team as Maurizio Sarri is set for Stamford Bridge exit this summer.

Mourinho is now joint second favorite alongside another former Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez and former Juventus chief Max Allegri at 10/3 (+333) to take the managerial hotseat at the bridge.

The Spanish Manager earlier had a brief experience with Chelsea in 2012 after he replaced Robert Di Matteo, while he got sacked, which earlier did not go well with the sentiments of the Chelsea fans.

During his short spell, he helped guide the Blues to a third place finish in the Premier League and led them to victory in the UEFA Europa League.

According to The Sun, the Portuguese tactician would "seriously consider" taking up the reigns at Stamford Bridge once more, after being out of management since his ignominious sacking from Manchester United last December.

Zakka later met with Prime Minister Saad Hariri at the Grand Serail and received a phone call from Foreign Minister Jebran Bassil. Zakka operated the Arab ICT Organization, which promotes information technology and Internet freedom in the Middle East.

Cech would be just the latest in a series of returns for legendary players, with Gianfranco Zola, Joe Cole, Paulo Ferreira and Didier Drogba all now having varied roles within the club.

He has worked miracles with the Magpies on a small budget, which would appeal to Chelsea under their current transfer ban, and been very popular in the north east.

The publication further states that Benitez's future at the St James' Park remains unsure after refusing to pen a new deal with the club yet.

Sarri's one season in charge has mirrored Benitez's with both men winning in Europe and finishing third in the Premier League but his methods have come under fire, especially midway through the season.

Ajax's Erik ten Hag has also been considered for a role but he is cautious about signing on at Stamford Bridge due to the transfer ban that is now in place.
