The comments were the latest of many presidential broadsides directed at news organizations that have displeased Trump with their coverage, and at CNN in particular.

Trump had already called the Duchess of Sussex "nasty" (a remark he has since denied ever making, despite an audio recording proving he did) before boarding Air Force One, but that didn't stop him from firing off a flurry of tweets to further distract from the goal of his visit.

He followed by ostensibly referencing Trump's "fake news" claim, adding "Fake news with the president has become a tell".

"Why wouldn't they act", Trump wrote.

Dominic Thiem says Serena Williams has 'bad personality' after press conference interruption
When Thiem was made aware of the situation he outlined his disappointment by saying: "I don't really get it, seriously. Serena Williams' third-round loss at the French Open also had a big impact on Dominic Thiem .

Trump, who arrived in London on Monday for the start of a weeklong visit, launched another attack on CNN on Twitter. Trump's complained about CNN's "fake news" and ultimately suggested a boycott of CNN's new corporate owner AT&T to encourage that they "do something".

Democrats on Capitol Hill have raised questions and earlier this year pushed for documents about the Justice Department's motivations and the White House's influence in deciding to take the case to court.

An AT&T spokesperson did not immediately respond to request for comment.

Trump is already embroiled in a controversy over the company's acquisition of Time Warner. The president misspelled Khan's name, called him a "stone cold loser" and compared him to NY mayor Bill de Blasio.

"I never called Meghan Markle 'nasty.' Made up by the Fake News Media, and they got caught cold!" He lashed out at the city's mayor, Sadiq Khan, who said the United Kingdom was wrong to "roll out the red carpet" for Trump's visit.
