Google Calendar is down, users report 404 and other errors

Google Calendar went down on Tuesday morning

Google Calendar went down on Tuesday morning

'We're investigating reports of an issue with Google Calendar, ' the message read. Google acknowledged reports of users unable to access their calendars this morning, confirming that no, it's not just you.

In response to a request for comment, Google directed Dailymail.com to the company's G Suite dashboard. If you try to access it via your desktop browser, the page will return an Error 404 warning.

No doubt a coincidence, but the last Tweet sent from Google's Gsuite Twitter account was about how the Calendar app makes scheduling simpler. Google said "please rest assured that system reliability is a top priority at Google, and we are making continuous improvements to make our systems better".

Surprisingly, the mobile app seems to be working fine.

Google RCS on Android is coming soon: What you’ll opt-into
RCS is meant to replacement aging SMS, but users have been left uncertain of when the service would finally arrive on their phone. And in the event a carrier/device combination already work with the standard, Google will let the carrier handle your messages.

Without knowing what meetings, classes and other events were scheduled for the day, some took to social media to share their frustration. "#404meetingnotfound" wrote one Twitter user.

Bad news if you were hoping to know where you were meant to be today, who you should be meeting with, and when, with Google Calendar experiencing widespread outages worldwide.
