Inter One Of Seven Tracking Lille Sensation Nicolas Pepe

According to L'Equipe, via Sport Witness, Inter have submitted their opening bid for the forward, which comes in at €90m.

Liverpool were heavily linked with a move for the 24-year-old, who is now on global duty with Ivory Coast, but the European champions are yet to make an offer.

Pepe is hot property in European football after bagging 23 goals in 41 appearances for Lille in 2018/19.

But according to French publication La Voix du Nord, Premier League giants United and Liverpool have not given up on making a move for the Ivory Coast global - also a target for PSG - and are still interested in acquiring his services.

Inter have made a €75 million bid for the 24-year-old, who took Ligue 1 by storm last season whilst one of the Premier League clubs are understood to have tabled an even bigger offer of €85 million.

De Kock's defences were breached by Trent Boult and du Plessis' stumps were shattered by Lockie Ferguson's spearing yorker on 23. The 28-year-old earned massive appreciations for his patience at the crease, with many praising his astute leadership skills.

"PSG were looking at him as well, so I don't think we can rule out a move to perhaps the likes of Spain or Italy, perhaps even Germany".

And a move to the Premier League would attract Pepe, who has never hidden his desire to play in the English top-flight.

Earlier this month, Pepe was valued at more than £60m.

Liverpool have been quiet in the transfer window so far, but Klopp may consider adding to his team to keep putting pressure on Premier League champions Manchester City.
