Keanu Reeves in the MCU: Kevin Feige Confirms Conversations for Marvel Films

Do The Right Thing & Sign This Petition To Make Keanu TIME's Person Of The Year

The actor, who spent most of his post-Matrix days awkwardly showing up in romantic comedies or starring in widely panned genre movies (47 Ronin anyone?), surprised everyone with the fantastic 2014 action flick John Wick. There's even a fan petition to give Reeves the nod as Time Magazine's Person of the Year for 2019. With all this newfound success, where could Reeves show up in the future? A reporter for CNET sister site ComicBook.com asked Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige if the company was planning anything involving Reeves, and indeed, odd things are afoot at the Circle K.

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios' grand conclusion to twenty-two films, "Avengers: Endgame". Although it hasn't worked out just yet, Feige is still hopeful that his day in the MCU will come.

Marvel Studios' decade-long Infinity Saga concluded with the release of Avengers: Endgame and the fourth phase of the MCU is set to officially begin after Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters next month.

Amazon Prime Day date leaked - again
Interestingly, the date of the sale isn't even a point of discussion among people who are waiting for Prime Day 2019 to kick off. Amazon Prime Day is coming - probably sometime in mid-July, and perhaps on July 15 according to the latest leaks.

Current unconfirmed rumors suggest we may see Reeves join the MCU sooner rather than later with a possible role in The Eternals, along with Angelina Jolie, Kumail Nanjiani and Richard Madden.

Feige responded with a laugh: "We talk to him for nearly every film we make". Before that, he reportedly came close to joining Captain Marvel as Yon-Rogg, a role that ultimately went to Jude Law. Production on that film started earlier this week.

The MCU may have a lot going for it, but there's a distinct lack of Keanu Reeves in this superhero universe. Share your thoughts in the comments section below!
