The success of the Lego Star Wars games led to a number of additional licensed Lego games, with franchises getting the Lego treatment including Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Batman, The Avengers, Indiana Jones, and probably more that I'm forgetting. According to the leak, nine Star Wars films in the space-faring saga would feature in an alleged The New Complete Saga release.

It looks like J.J. Abrams and his team really are working hard on Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker because it looks like the films editor had to begin to work on the film right on-set during the movie's production.

What is now known as Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is being directed by J.J. Abrams, who also directed 2015's The Force Awakens. The game was revealed at Microsoft's E3 2019 showcase, but details are slim at the moment. The sheer amount of playable experiences won't stop there, either.

Yemen war: Houthi missile attack on Saudi airport 'injures 26'
The UK submitted a draft resolution to the United Nation's Security Council on Monday condemning the oil facility attack. The U.S. has also blamed Iran for sabotaging tankers near the Persian Gulf using naval mines, a claim Tehran denies.

This may all seem overwhelming; however, players will have the option to dive into the saga at whichever point they choose. But with the conclusion of the sequel trilogy in 2020, TT Games will be giving the new films their typically irreverent Lego-ified twist.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is scheduled for release on December 20. It was an absolute pleasure to be part of the launch of the original LEGO Star Wars game and it's equally exciting to now move the series forward and help create a new era of LEGO Star Wars games. Seemingly, this isn't just a new collection of the prior Lego Star Wars games, but an all-new re-imagining of each movie too, now with additions of The Last Jedi and the upcoming Rise of Skywalker.
