Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has told the club that he wants to join Real Madrid this summer, with the France global also willing to snub interest from his former club Juventus.

I Bianconeri's sporting director Fabio Paratici reportedly travelled to hold talks with Manchester United, following claims that Pogba was being put off a move to Real Madrid and instead favoured returning to Turin.

That has forced the Red Devils to look for potential replacements, with the Sun reporting that club chiefs have identified Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemans as a viable option.

Monaco are open to selling Tielemans, but only if someone matches their valuation for the player which is thought to be £40m.

Tielemans scored three goals in 13 appearances for the Foxes, putting in a high-class performance against Arsenal.

Robert Pires has told fellow France World Cup victor Paul Pogba to show Manchester United some loyalty.

French President Emmanuel Macron has set a goal of rebuilding it in just five years, which many experts consider unrealistic. But the ultra-wealthy donors who promised nearly $1 billion haven't yet ponied up a cent.

The French midfielder wants Manchester United to let him go so he can work under Zinedine Zidane.

The same article states that the two clubs are in the early stages of negotiations as Manchester United explore the possibility of potentially offloading Pogba this summer.

United believe they can out-muscle Leicester in the race for Tieleman's, but much of their plans will depend on whether Pogba stays at the club or not.

And while United are not willing to lose him, Marca report that Zidane and Pogba are determined to make the transfer happen.

United have woken up in the battle to sign Tielemans, which is why Leicester face a tough competition to complete his transfer.
