Matthew Perry has been open about his struggles with drugs and alcohol in the past.

Perry appeared to be responding to a Daily Mail article, featuring a photo showing him out and about in NY, casually dressed, unshaven and with what the outlet described as "long unkempt fingernails".

His recent appearance in New York City marks one of the first times he's been spotted in public since retreating from the spotlight due to ongoing health troubles.

While being told he looked disheveled, Matthew faced the most criticism for his long fingernails, which some users on social media dubbed "gross". While he only tweets about once a month, Perry, who famously played the sarcastic Chandler Bing, responded Friday with a quip about how he's "getting a manicure this morning". Along the way, they couldn't help but recall a familiar Friends scene.

In this way, it is safe to assume that the new smartphones from the CC series would have some new imaging-driven highlights. However, as per the leaks, the Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e will become the first ever smartphones to launch under this new series.

In September, Perry confirmed that he had spent three months in a Los Angeles, California, hospital following surgery to fix a gastrointestinal perforation.

Last August, Matthew, who has been candid about his struggles with alcohol and addiction, underwent a surgery at a hospital in Los Angeles to fix a gastrointestinal perforation.

He addressed the condition in September, tweeting: "Three months in a hospital bed".
