Messi blamed for Barcelona's Champions League failure

The outlet Marca reported earlier this week that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) was willing to accept transfer offers for Neymar.

Nearly two years after becoming the poster boy for PSG's multi-million project, the writing appears to be on the wall for the Brazilian, who has been transfer-listed by the Ligue 1 giants, as per Marca.

The transfer left a bitter taste in the mouth of some Barca supporters and now Neymar is ready to rebuild bridges by apologising for his departure, according to Spanish paper Sport.

Two summers ago, Neymar sent shockwaves through the footballing world as he chose to leave Barcelona, the club where he had it all, to join PSG in a risky and much-criticised move.

Milan clubs to demolish San Siro Stadium
Built in 1925, the colossal arena has hosted four European Cup finals, as well as six matches during the 1990 FIFA World Cup. The project will cost around €700m, with both clubs hoping to move in at the beginning of the 2022/23 season.

But among PSG's star-studded squad, there is a clamour to keep the Brazilian.

Meanwhile, many at Barça are now dreaming of a possible "Fantastic Four" ahead of next season, with the club linked with moves for Neymar and Antoine Griezmann to join Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez in Barcelona's attack.

'It's hard to sign a player like that in your club.

While it has been claimed that Zinedine Zidane's Real Madrid have also been monitoring the Brazilian with keen interest, it is believed the player himself is keen on returning to the Catalan giants. It's also hard to keep him, but I hope he will continue with us. I really hope he stays'.
