Well, it's 11 years later and it may have taken over a decade, but Pierce has an explanation - and it had nothing to do with being hurt. Instead, some wondered whether he, um, soiled himself.

"I have a confession to make", he said during ESPN's pre-game coverage of the Toronto-Golden State final today.

Pierce was guarding Kobe Bryant in the third quarter and went down grabbing his knee after a Bryant shot. Pierces' co-hosts pressed him a bit harder and Pierce revealed that he may have actually already GONE to the bathroom and needed the wheelchair to hide him as he went to the locker room to clean up.
