However, it remains to be seen whether that's enough to convince Pogba to stay at Manchester United given, at least publicly, his desires have not been about money.

United chief Ed Woodward is adamant a player who is as central to the club's commercial interests as he is on the pitch will not be sold after blocking Pogba's desired move to Barcelona a year ago.

Pogba inspired Manchester United on an impressive run of form which saw them close the gap to the top four, before him and the sides form fell off a cliff at the end of the campaign, with the Red Devils falling back to where they started, finishing sixth in the Premier League and missing out on Champions League football.

Sky Sports News understands United expect Pogba to remain at Old Trafford this summer, but accept a situation may arise whereby it would be best to allow their record signing to depart.

But the 26-year-old would now prefer a return to Juventus over a move to the Santiago Bernabéu, according to Sky Sports Italy.

The France worldwide fuelled exit rumours last week, hinting he's ready for a new challenge away from Old Trafford.

Bucks' Middleton to decline $13M option
According to a report from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski , Middleton is expected to command a five-year contract with the Bucks. Middleton declined his option on Wednesday, but that doesn't necessarily portend a departure from Milwaukee.

The loyalty bonus numbers becomes all the more key in this case, and it makes it all the more likely that United are desperate to keep the Frenchman at Old Trafford.

Whether that challenge will be in Turin or Madrid is still yet unknown.

In addition to Juventus, Real Madrid also want to sign Pogba as part of their summer overhaul.

Madrid, in fact, have made a £90 million bid for Pogba, with Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane known to be a big fan of the French midfielder.

Juventus fans, on the other hand, seem much more excited by the prospect of signing the Frenchman, who is now in the Far East on a promotional tour.
