Horford opted out of the final season of his contract with the Boston Celtics and discussions between the two sides broke down with him now expected to sign elsewhere. Instead, he wants to find a three- or four-year deal from a different team.

Horford initially declined his player option with the hopes of working out a new three-year deal with Boston in July, ESPN reported Tuesday.

Boston is already expecting to lose Kyrie Irving in free agency.

Horford has established himself as an impact player with the Celtics.

The Houston Rockets and Philadelphia 76ers are reportedly interested in signing Al Horford in free agency, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Watch Stadium. Porzingis and Luka Doncic make the Mavs very risky, and adding Horford into that mix can help keep the floor spaced while helping shore up their defense. They won't be the only team that shows interest in the All-Star center, as the Lakers and Clippers are also potential suitors.

He later said he also supported plans to boycott the company if it moved its manufacturing overseas. According to Harley, it will be introduced elsewhere in Asia after the initial launch in China.

The Lakers, Clippers and Mavericks all have interest in signing Horford, according to The Ringer, which cited unidentified league sources.

If the Clippers land Horford, they wouldn't necessarily have to pair him with Leonard.

Horford is coming off another strong season with the Celtics, averaging 13.6 points and 6.7 rebounds per contest.

It's going to be a monumental offseason for a handful of teams in the National Basketball Association, and Horford's potential departure from Boston makes for a pretty interesting storyline.
