Another season as a back-up at United will see his confidence further shattered and his transfer value will plummet.

The Belgian global scored twice as they beat Scotland 3-0 in their EURO 2020 qualifier in Brussels on Tuesday, and speaking afterwards the former Chelsea and Everton striker revealed his future is up in the air.

The Belgian striker also netted twice in the Champions League for the Red Devils but the season ultimately ended in disappointment for both club and player as they finished sixth and without a trophy.

Lukaku wouldn't be the first Belgium star to leave the Premier League this summer with Eden Hazard having joined Real Madrid from Chelsea. "I have two leagues which I always dreamed about which are the English league and the Serie A".

Over the past few weeks, there's been several reports linking the 26-year-old with a move to Inter Milan, and the striker heaped praise on Antonio Conte, who was recently appointed as manager at the San Siro.

'He [Conte] knows what I think about him.

"My club and agent will talk about [the transfer bid], but my mind is made up. I just play my football and we'll take it from there".

Amidst this, there have claims that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does not consider the Belgian to be mobile enough to lead the attack and Gazzetta dello Sport via Metro suggests that he could part ways with the side.
