Dubbed The Wall Luxury, the consumer version of this MicroLED display begins at 73-inches with support for 2K resolution.

"Throughout the last twelve months, we've closely monitored interior design and technology trends to shape the product planning and development of The Wall Luxury", said Mark Quiroz, Vice President of Product Marketing for Samsung Electronics America.

Why it matters: If you're looking for 292-inch, 8K, HDR television and happen to have won the lottery, Samsung has you covered.

The Wall is built using Micro LED display technology, which is different to the LED-backlit LCDs used in the current crop of commercially available TVs.

The Korean technology firm is about to launch its breathtaking goggle box which is simply called The Wall.

Samsung yesterday announced The Wall Luxury, the latest version of The Wall, Samsung's bespoke modular Micro LED TV.

In addition, the MicroLEDs inside the TVs have a 100,000-hour lifetime, meaning you can run them for at least 11 years straight. The engine uses AI upscaling and machine learning to enhance the picture quality, regardless of the original source format.

It also has a depth of less than 30mm and a slim, bezel-less and borderless design; a purposeful element put in place by Samsung to allow it to seamlessly blend into the background of whatever it's hanging from. This means that whether you're watching a classic film, your favorite sports team, or playing a fast-paced video game, The Wall Luxury will deliver peak brightness of 2,000 nits and 120Hz video rate. When not in use, The Wall Luxury kicks into Ambient Mode and shows a collection of curated art, including paintings, photos, and videos.

Additionally, Samsung worked with Harman Luxury Audio and Steinway Lyngdorf to offer unmatched audio solutions; Control4, Crestron, and Savant for home automation; and Domotz, Ihiji, and OrvC for remote monitoring capabilities. Pricing has yet to be announced. You can imagine that it will be anything but cheap.
