Today Entertainment Weekly has shared that filming has begun on the untitled follow-up, with plans to wrap an enticing pilot episode that will hopefully result in a series order.

The Game of Thrones franchise never stops since it's a cash cow for HBO. It's also doing so in a familiar Game of Thrones location, as the production is now based out of Northern Ireland, which used to serve as the hub for the eight seasons of the HBO series. Will Bloodmoon shoot in other countries, as well, something else its predecessor did?

Surprisingly, the prequel series doesn't have a direct-to-series order and it's now just shooting a pilot. However, since AT&T shareholders would probably be less than pleased if the newly acquired HBO didn't have a Game of Thrones series running, a series greenlight is nearly a certainty.

In the video, Ranveer can be seen giving the disappointed fan a warm hug and telling him, "There is always a next time". Meanwhile, Ranveer also shared many pictures on his Instagram handle with many cricket stars.

The big-budgeted spinoff is created by Jane Goldman (Kick-Ass, Kingsman) and GOT author George R.R. Martin, written by Jane Goldman based on a story by her and Martin. "There's no King's Landing". Since May 19, when "The Iron Throne" aired, Thrones has been knocked out of the top-five of IMDb's all-time TV rankings by Chernobyl and cast members have confessed they wish their characters had gotten better deaths; also, production started on the prequel series, which is filming in a familiar location. Of course, that season was the product of an unnecessary rush from showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff, who are not involved with the untitled prequel series.

It's been a few weeks since the divisive final season of HBO's GAME OF THRONES came to a close, leaving many fans of the swords and sorcery series wanting for their weekly dose of dragons, debauchery, and damn good drama.
