Spotify debuts new Your Daily Drive feature in the US

Spotify has redesigned Your Library for premium users. For news, Spotify says it'll source from "reputable" sources, including the Wall Street Journal, NPR, and PRI, and will update throughout the day to keep things fresh.

"Escape from toggling between multiple stations to avoid music that isn't quite your speed", Spotify wrote in a Wednesday blog post announcing the new feature, which launched today for all United States users. Each tab will have three subcategories.

While in the shows section, you'll discover new shows allows you to quickly manage the podcasts you follow and explore their past episodes.

Of course, entire albums that you've liked will also show up in this list, so it's probably best to listen to the Liked Songs playlist in Shuffle play mode.

Rolling Stone describes the new playlist as a kind of leveling-up of Spotify, one more indication of its expansion from a mere streaming service to something more like an "all-inclusive audio platform".

Conservative leadership: 10 rivals face first ballot of Tory MPs
He told MPs that he was "strongly not attracted to" the option at an event after the official launch of his campaign yesterday. The second round next week will have a threshold of 33 votes, anyone polling less than that will be eliminated.

Under the episodes section, you'll find all the podcast shows that you follow including the ones that you're now listening to and new one that you have not.

The Artists section will show the artists you follow and Albums will contain any album you tap the heart icon on.

In addition to the new sections, Spotify will rearrange your selections depending on whether or not you are online. At the moment, podcasts are organised by shows that users follow, unplayed shows, and downloaded shows, which can be a bit messy.

"It also makes getting started and staying up-to-date with podcasts on Spotify a seamless, personalized experience". It makes them much easier to find.
