Thornton says he'll return for 2019-20 season

Braun, a seventh-round draft pick by the Sharks in 2007, departs San Jose with 154 points (24g, 130a) in 607 games over nine seasons.

Thornton, who will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1, didn't specify if he would be returning to the Sharks for his 22nd National Hockey League season, but then again he didn't really need to. "I'll sit down with [owner Hasso Plattner] and [coach Peter DeBoer] and [general manager Doug Wilson] and figure something out. It'll be the first summer in a long time when I don't have to rehab, so I'm excited about that", he said. He tore the ACL and MCL in his left knee in 2017 and tore the MCL in his right knee in 2018.

Transfer: Arsenal 'agrees five-year deal' with William
Arsenal have been keeping tabs on his development and it is believed that a £25million price tag was slapped on the 18-year-old. However, both are into their thirties, as is Nacho Monreal, while Shkodran Mustafi endured another forgettable season.

Joe Thornton told reporters at an NHL Awards media availability Tuesday that he feels good and will return for the 2019-20 season, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman. "I think I've been in this business a long time, I've never met anyone like him and we cherish the days we have him". The future Hall of Famer tallied 51 points in 73 regular-season games and added 10 points in 19 postseason contests - all while playing predominately in a third-line role. The 39-year-old has 413 goals and 1,065 assists in 1,566 career games, split between the Sharks and Boston Bruins.

"I'll probably play another 10 years". "We just ran out of gas, a lot of guys were hurt and stuff like that, like a lot of teams". Karlsson could have become an unrestricted free agent July 1. "Really excited for him", Thornton said.
