Asus 6Z with 48 MP camera launched will be available starting Rs 31,999 on Flipkart

To protect the smartphone from scratches, Asus has covered it with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 on both sides. Telecare Network, a company in India has complained that it has been using Zen and ZenMobile as its product monikers since 2008.

The Asus 6Z also bundles stereo speakers at the top and bottom position. The same camera module can be flipped to take selfies. Other features of Asus 6 Z include Snapdragon 855 processor, 8 GB of RAM and 5,000 MAH batteries. It will come with a no-touch full-HD + display.

The Asus 6Z takes over from the Zenfone 5Z that fared quite well in India. With such powerful specifications and a starting price that is less than Rs 35,000, the device gives a direct competition to OnePlus 7. This price will be sold to 6 GB RAM / 64GB storage variants. The smartphone is priced at INR31,999 for 6GB RAM+64GB storge base model and INR34,999 and INR39,999 for 6GB RAM+128GB and 8GB RAM+256GB models respectively. All the three variants will be available for sale on Flipkart from 26 June. The device will be available in Midnight Black and Twilight Silver colour variants. We were lucky enough to get our hands on this beast of a phone and a review of the ASUS 6Z will be followed, so don't forget to catch our review. Under the launch offer, the Flipkart Compliant Mobile Protection (usually Rs. 3,999 for the flagship) will cost Rs. 99. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with Zen UI skin on top.

Beyond the Weather: The summer solstice
Some cultures, such as paganism, have symbolic meanings attached to the solstice - such as fertility and the harvest. A long day of sunlight may seem a distant prospect for some, however, with much of the country enveloped in rain.

Eric Chen revealed that Asus 6Z will be among the first wave of smartphones to receive Android Q. He also noted that the 6Z will get Android R when it is released. The smartphone flaunts a notch-less display measuring 6.4-inches with full HD+ screen resolution. Other than this, the handset is powered by the most powerful processor in the world - Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC - and that means that the performance of the smartphone is extremely smooth. The rotating camera has a dual sensor setup featuring a 48-megapixel primary shooter with a Sony IMX586 sensor and a f/1.79 aperture coupled with a 13-megapixel secondary 125-degree ultra-wide-angle camera.

The panorama mode is slightly unique on this device and rather than you having to move the smartphone manually, the camera flips 180 degrees slowly capturing images continuously to eventually stitch them together.
