Apple releases public betas of iOS 13, iPadOS and macOS Catalina

Apple releases public betas of iOS 13, iPadOS and macOS Catalina

All the changes coming to iOS 13 and iPadOS can be seen on the Apple website.

After selecting "macOS", you'll be reminded to make a Time Machine backup before moving forward. There's no charge - and, conversely, Apple won't pay you for spotting bugs - and officially you're not meant to discuss what you see in the beta.

After downloading the beta profile for this software, iPhone and iPad users can access the Software Update menu under the Settings app to install the beta version of iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 respectively. If you own any of these models, you can install the first public beta of iPadOS to experience the change. This year, Apple didn't just focus on overhauling the performance but there are plenty of visual sweets, too, like the all-important Dark Mode. In addition to dark mode and a swiping keyboard, iOS 13 introduces a handful of updates related to fonts.

The first public beta builds of iOS 13, iPadOS, and macOS 10.15 Catalina are now out.

Click "Enroll Your Devices" at the top of the webpage.

This also marks the first public beta for iPadOS, Apple's newly forked tablet interface.

The New Raspberry Pi 4 is More Powerful and More Expensive Too
Availability of the 1 Gigabyte model is good; the 4 Gigabyte version of the Raspberry Pi 4 is sold out now , at least in Germany. Yet, if you recently bought a case for your Raspberry Pi thinking that you could upgrade to a new Pi in the future, think again.

Not for nothing does Apple recommend that those taking part in the Apple Beta Software Program only consider "installing on a secondary system or device, or on a secondary partition on your Mac".

How to downgrade from iOS 13 public beta:Step #1 Remember that backup we made you do?

iOS 13 also comes with a legion of nifty performance improvements that should make your device faster than ever before.

Are you feeling a bit of FOMO (fear of missing out) and want to test out iPadOS before it launches this fall?

Step #4 iTunes will prompt you to restore your device and therefore reset it back to its factory defaults.
