Alves is now back in Europe and he has two interesting offers

Premier League champions Manchester City are reportedly ready to renew their efforts to sign Brazil global Dani Alves after he left French club Paris-Saint-Germain.

Alves almost re-united with his former Barcelona boss back in 2017 only to have a last-second change of heart, opting for a PSG switch instead.

Alves' main objective is to be involved for Brazil at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, and he knows that for this to happen he must be playing regularly for a club and at the top end of the footballing pyramid.

According to the report on UK Mirror, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is interested in having a reunion with Dani Alves after working with him at Barcelona.

Speaking on The Transfer Window Podcast, Castles claimed that, "there's been contact with Tottenham Hotspur about the possibility of Dani moving there".

Alves has also enjoyed a successful career for his country, winning the Copa America in 2007 and the Confederations Cup twice in 2009 and 2013 before his second Copa triumph on Sunday night. The first of this enormous trophy haul came back in 2006 during his spell at Sevilla as they won the UEFA Cup.
