When Beyoncé was first announced to be starring in the new Lion King live-action remake, we were all pretty curious to witness exactly what Disney would accomplish with the flick. The film will officially be out on July 19 and on that same day, Beyoncé is releasing a new album to celebrate the blockbuster's debut.

Beyoncé has unveiled the track listing for her "Lion King" companion album on her website... a whole three days ahead of its release.

The soundtrack was produced by Queen Bey herself where she incorporates several African artists. Guests include her voice-acting costar Donald Glover - billed for his musical talents as Childish Gambino, of course - along with her husband and child, Jay-Z and Blue Ivy Carter.

West Ham are, however, prepared to splash the cash again in order to bring much-needed firepower into the London Stadium. The 19-year-old signed a new contract with the Hammers in March - one that will run until at least the summer of 2022.

Speaking on "Good Morning America" on Tuesday, the "Spirit" singer described "The Lion King: The Gift" as a love letter to Africa. "I wanted it to be authentic to what is attractive about the music in Africa", she told Robin Roberts.

Beyoncé who talked about the 14-track album explains what went into picking the performers and the theme for the album. Aiming to create an authentic sound using African artists in conjunction with American producers and in the end creating their own genre. "It's a soundscape. It's more than just the music, because each song tells the story of the film", she said.
