Blackhawks trade center Artem Anisimov to Ottawa for Smith

Rumored in deals for almost a year, the team sent him to the Senators on Tuesday afternoon, getting forward Zack Smith in return.

Anisimov played four seasons for the Blackhawks, scoring 77 goals and adding 78 assists in 291 games, including 15 goals and 22 assists last season.

Anisimov and Smith and both signed through the 2020-21 season with their contracts carrying an average annual value of $4.55 million and $3.25 million, respectively.

Smith departs the Canadian capital after spending his entire career with the organisation.

As you can imagine, most of Kylie's comments were positive and were coming from her fans, who were praising her looks. Kylie wrote about her struggles with anxiety and how she dealt with challenges after having her baby.

Smith comes to Chicago after an improved season in Ottawa in which he had a career-high 19 assists along with nine goals. He topped 20 goals in three consecutive seasons before falling short previous year.

A veteran of 11 National Hockey League seasons, Anisimov has 163 goals and 184 assists in 703 career regular season games.

This deal isn't a blockbuster by any stretch of the imagination, but it will help the Senators fill out their roster while complying with the rules of the salary cap. His career faceoff percentage is 50.7.

Veteran centre Artem Anisimov will be the newest among the new fleet of Senators this offseason, while one of the longest-tenured players in Ottawa, Zack Smith, will head the other direction. Are you pleased with this trade?
