It made it to the site's front page, and soon commenters realized a bunch of other pricey cameras, camera gear, and camera bundles were listed at the same price, PetaPixel reports.

This past Prime Day was the most successful one yet for Amazon - keeping in mind the "tradition" is still young. The $94.48 price caught the attention of the customer, who posted about the discount on Slickdeals. But some found an error that left very expensive camera equipment at less than $100. Cameras of big brands like Canon worth a fortune have been shipped as ordered by the customers! Another customer said he bought a $5,500 camera for the same price. A range of camera gear/lenses were sold at deep discounts. By the time the error could be correct, thousands of orders were received.

It is interesting to watch other large retailers go head to head with Amazon, rather than trying innovative solutions or shopping events of their own. Prime members purchased more than 175 million items during the event. The website reports that there were similar reports previous year, with camera equipment going for 90 percent off.

But would Amazon cancel the orders?

British Airways suspends flights to Cairo for 7 days as ‘precaution’
Before regular flights between Moscow and Cairo were resumed in April 2018, Egypt had to seriously enhance security at airports. BBC Afrique's Pierre-Antoine Denis, in Cairo, reports that all other airlines that use the airport are operating normally.

There are reports of people receiving their orders on the same day.

There were reports of Amazon locking the accounts of those who attempted to make multiple purchases. Do you guys think it will ship or get cancelled because it was a glitch?" while the other wrote, "I too got some deals from the prime day "glitch". This year's edition was a bit different from the rest as the online retailer announced weeks before that Prime Day would last 48 hours instead of the usual 36. Some specific sales numbers may help to put the huge size of the event in sharp focus: in the United States alone, Amazon sold over 100,000 laptops, 200,000 TV sets and more than a quarter million headphones.

A record number of Prime members shopped during Prime Day in the US. Let us know in the comments.
