The chain had already shut down 100 stores from previously filing bankruptcy that ended in April 2018, according to Fortune.

The women's fashion accessory retailer has filed for bankruptcy for the second time in two years and announced Thursday it will close all of its stores.

Charming Charlie's debtors and advisers "have made the hard decision to seek authority to close and wind down or conduct other similar themed sales" at the national chain's 261 brick-and-mortar locations, the bankruptcy filing reads.

Charming Charlie has more than 260 stores in 38 states and employs more than 3,300 people.

Founded in 2004, Charming Charlie sells a wide assortment of jewelry, handbags, apparel, gifts and beauty products, with the merchandise organized by color. Charming Charlie's core customer base is women aged 35 to 55, Bellon said.

PC Sales Grew Slightly in Second Quarter
According to IDC, Lenovo remains the top company when it comes to PC market share, with 25.1% of the market and a growth of 18.2%. HP came in second, claiming more than 20 percent of the market with year-over-year growth of a few points.

In its court filing, the company said it faced "unsustainable operating expenses, including onerous leases" at a time when many physical retailers are challenged by online retailers.

In the filing, the company cited facing "significant headwinds given the continued decline of the brick-and-mortar retail industry". It expects liquidation sales to garner about $30 million in revenue. Toys R Us, facing tough competition from Amazon and several billions of dollars of debt, filed for Chapter 11 reorganization in September of 2017 and liquidated its businesses past year.
