Great news for United Kingdom soccer star Daniel Sturridge - who was REUNITED with his beloved Pomeranian after the dog was jacked from his L.A. home Monday in an apparent burglary.

Over a day after the dog was stolen, ABC7 revealed that Lucci has finally been returned home after being located by Los Angeles police officers in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The ex-Manchester City and Chelsea man, who is linked with a move to newly promoted Premier League side Aston Villa, left Liverpool when his contract expired at the end of June.

It is unknown who took the dog or if any reward was in fact paid out by Sturridge, but he seems delighted to have Lucci back. How can you break into someone's house in LA and take a dog?

Sturridge had posted several appeals to help track his dog, after it was allegedly stolen from his LA home on Monday night.

"Somebody's broken into the house in LA, taken my dog from the house", the distressed former Liverpool forward said.

"Listen, whoever knows who broke into my crib, I'll pay you anything".

He then messaged a number of media outlets who ran the story about Sturridge being reunited with his dog, telling them that he'd been let down by Sturridge.

Yo, somebody please find my dog.

Sturridge pleaded for the safe return of his dog in multiple Instagram posts Tuesday after his home was burglarized while he was out bowling with friends. 20 or 30 grand, bring my dog back. I'll pay anything, I'm dead serious.

Sturridge also posted four images of the dog - who has his own Instagram account - and uploaded CCTV footage of three hooded men.
