Disney star Cameron Boyce suffered from epilepsy, family says

Disney has cancelled the forthcoming red carpet premiere of "Descendants 3" to honour the fallen star of Disney Channel Cameron Boyce. The 20-year-old actor died in his sleep following a seizure last Saturday, brought on by an existing medical condition. According to People, that condition was epilepsy.

Boyce had starred in many Disney Channel projects, starting in 2011, with guest appearances on Good Luck Charlie and Shake It Up and a starring role on Jessie. He further wrote: "I miss him terribly. I hope that no one ever has to feel the agony I'm feeling but no one is immune to tragedy". Thank you for understanding'.

"He was flawless. He always said that if you have a voice, you have the privilege of using that voice for change, and he did not take that idea lightly. He understood his responsibility as someone so many kids would look up to", she continued.
