Wimbledon epic cements Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal as one of the greatest rivalries all of sports

Novak's No. 1, he's won three of the last four Slams and he's hasn't lost to Federer in 4.5 years since the 2014 ATP Finals and in a Slam in 7 years. So...

The Novak Djokovic vs Roger Federer Wimbledon 2019 Final will be played on July 14 at Centre Court of All England Club in London.

As the newfangled tiebreaker carried the last set alone past the two-hour mark, it was Djokovic who was better.

Djokovic on the other hand is very strict and regimented and likes to stick to his pre-final routine.

What are the keys to the match for Federer?

. Both very evenly matched as athletes, and both bring the best out in the other.

Nadal's four-set defeat was somewhat unexpected since he had been an unstoppable force in his last three matches.

Second seed Federer beat Nadal 7-6 (7-3) 1-6 6-3 6-4 on centre court to keep his hopes of a 21st Grand Slam alive.

However, post-2011, Djokovic has clearly dominated Federer and that is evident from a 19-9 record in the favour of the Serbian player. It will be crucial how Federer starts, and how well he serves, against arguably the best returner the game has seen. Djokovic will want to get his teeth into points and draw the rallies out-there is no one in the history of tennis as ruthlessly consistent as he-so Fed needs to get his share of free points.

FC Barcelona beat PSG to 16-year-old striker
The 16-year-old turned down a professional contract with the Midlands club and was also on the radar of Paris Saint-Germain. Louie Barry , 16, is an English striker who has been on the radar of most European sides for a couple of years now.

"It is something that is going to be hard to see it again". However, Djokovic has countered any and all challenges and always been in control of the match.

JW: Djokovic, likewise, is going to have to have a strong returning day.

Defending champion Djokovic, the number one seed, beat Spain's Roberto Bautista Agut in four sets in their semifinal, in a match in which he on several occasions offered the Wimbledon crowd gestures of defiance as they cheered his rival.

Djokovic's double-fault in the next game helped Federer break back, and the ensuing changeover was filled with a fugue of fans' voices chanting the first names of both.

Federer had looked invincible on his way to the final, but found himself 2-1 down and facing Championship point at 2-5 in the fourth. But it's now high time to discuss Djokovic's edge over Federer.

In a tight 51-minute opener, Nadal managed to save the only break point in the eighth game before surrendering the advantage of an early mini-break in the tie-breaker which Federer claimed thanks to five points in a row.

Djokovic has looked rusty and distracted at times, but when needed, shifted gears to his clinical self and not let the opponent or the situation get the better of him. Federer dismissed preparation going into the title match, saying the work had already been done. I do it all the time.

Since 2017, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic have dominated the Grand Slams.
