The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Coming Fall 2020

At Marvel Studios' big Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, the studio unveiled some exclusive footage from the upcoming Disney+ show The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The series, which stars Anthony Mackie as Falcon and Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, will take place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. At the end of Endgame, Steve Rogers chose to retire from the hero life and pass on his shield, as well as the mantle of Captain America, to Sam. Mackie briefly handed the shield to Stan, before promptly asking for it back.

Falcon and The Winter Soldier will debut in the fall of 2020 on Disney +.

The panel was interrupted with a video of Daniel Bruhl invading the panel as Baron Zemo, who was first seen in Captain America: Civil War.

"I simply wanted to say hello to some old friends. Gentlemen, I'll be seeing you very soon".

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has, historically, had something of a disconnect with the TV side of things. Skogland has credits on shows like The Handmaid's Tale, Boardwalk Empire, The Killing, Penny Dreadful, House of Cards, The Americans, and The Walking Dead, so we have high hopes for this series. Marvel also has plans for a Loki-centered series starring Tom Hiddleston and a limited series about Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch and Paul Bettany's Vision. Still, it's exciting for fans to have firm confirmation. Disney+ launches this November. So now, MCU fans will need to shell out for a subscription service as well if they want to keep up with all of the happenings. "Every one of us has dreamed to be in a Marvel movie, so why would you mess that up?"
