Here's why Trump is insulting Paul Ryan

Trump unloaded on Ryan on Twitter late Thursday and to reporters Friday morning just before heading to Ryan's home state of Wisconsin, a pivotal state in the president's reelection bid.

Trump called Ryan "the failed V.P. candidate" and said his "record of achievement was atrocious (except during my first two years as President)".

A new book excerpt has stirred up a new fight between President Trump and former House Speaker Paul Ryan.

It's July 2019 in Washington, and President Donald Trump is again attacking Paul Ryan, a feud that might have died with the former House speaker's retirement in January.

"He quit Congress because he didn't know how to Win", Trump tweeted. "They gave me standing O's in the Great State of Wisconsin, & booed him off the stage".

Former NFL Defensive Tackle Albert Haynesworth Says He Needs a Kidney
He shared a photo of himself in a hospital bed and wrote that his kidneys failed him Sunday and he's looking for a donor . In 2008, Haynesworth posted 8.5 sacks and 22 QB hits as he won the Sporting News' Defensive Player of the Year award.

Trump also tweeted that Ryan failed to secure funding to build a southern border wall while Republicans controlled both chambers of Congress.

A new book, "American Carnage", explores the transition of the Republican Party into the Party of Trump, and includes revealing quotes from top GOP leaders and lawmakers who went from "Never Trump" to supporting the Oval Office occupant, and tells inside stories of how the President behaves in private. In conversations with Alberta after retirement, Ryan, who had served almost two decades in Congress, claimed Trump, a former real estate mogul, was ignorant about politics.

"We've gotten so numbed by it all", Ryan said.

Right, why else would Ryan say Trump knows nothing about government, other than getting bribed to do it by a Politico reporter? "Set a good example". If they decide to leave, as Ryan did, they lose part of their platform to influence and shape the White House. Ryan told the Politico Magazine writer that he viewed his congressional exit as an "escape hatch" from a president whose leadership he deplored. He was no leader...he wouldn't get subpoenas. when Nancy Pelosi hands them out like they're cookies.
