While many people had been expecting an apology, the Queen star only added fuel to fire.

Balaji Telefilms on Wednesday apologised for Kangana Ranaut's spat with a PTI journalist during a promotional event, a statement welcomed by the Entertainment Journalists' Guild of India that also firmed up its resolve to boycott the actor.

In the video, accompanying a tweet saying she is suffering from a high fever, Kangana starts off by saying that there are both good and bad people in media, and that she has found good friends and those who have had a role in her success.

Producer Ekta Kapoor apologized to media on her behalf who posted a video on Twitter calling a section of media "termites and shameless anti-nationals".

On Tuesday, it was announced that bosses from Silverstone and F1 had secured a new deal after two years of negotiations. If I'm not, if I stop racing, then I won't be here in any other capacity'.

Kangana had become embroiled in another controversy when she had a heated exchange with a journalist where she had accused him of running a smear campaign against her while the journalist had tried to ask her a question. "So I request such people to please ban me because I don't want their livelihoods to function because of me, and I wish to stay away from such people". Shraddha Kapoor was also banned by photographers when she refused to pose for them. But what these worthless anti-nationals don't get is that they are all sellouts.

"A lot is being reported about the debate that ensued between our film "JudgeMentall Hai Kya" actor and journalist Justin Rao, at the film's song launch event on July 7, 2019".

Ranaut also claimed that some journalists don't have any relevant comments or arguments to make, and are devoid of any journalistic identity. "There is a huge difference in the way journalists talk to Kangana and the way they talk to any big "male" star".

"You guys come to press conferences to eat free food", Ranaut continued in the video shared on Thursday. These people have suddenly formed a guild that isn't even recognised to ban me! "You are so cheap that you sell yourself for Rs 50-60".
