The stand-up funnywoman is now on a press tour promoting her upcoming documentary/comedy special "Kathy Griffin: A Hell of a Story", which chronicles her life after her infamous photo shoot in 2017 which depicted her holding a fake but bloody decapitated head of President Trump.

Those friends included Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen.

The conversation got heated during the interview when Griffin was asked about Cooper's late mother, who died this year at the age of 95.

Kathy Griffin took yet another jab at ex best friend Anderson Cooper - telling Buzzfeed News she "doesn't give a f- left to give" when referring to "older white guys". She starred in her reality show, My Life on the D-List from 2005 to 2010, and then hosted her talk show on the network from 2012 until 2013.

Cooper and Griffin's friendship also ended after he publicly scolded her on his show.

Griffin added: "'I'm just happy whenever a female - especially a female over 50 - is still in the game".

‘Agents of SHIELD’ to End With Season 7 at ABC
The Avengers director Joss Whedon and his brother Jed Whedon co-created the show with Maurissa Tancharoen, who is married to Jed. ABC previously aired the Marvel shows " Agent Carter " and "The Inhumans", both of which have since been canceled.

When requested about Cooper by Individuals, Griffin expressed her former affection. "And I thought yeah... it's sort of competition for Andy", Kathy claimed about a potential reason her show could have been cancelled.

", I do not suppose he is that type of man, what I imply?" she stated.

"The audience is there but the check signers, as I call them, still need a minute", said Griffin. "I simply do not suppose he is wired that approach".

She plans to tell her side of the story about the photo, the backlash and the effect it's had on her life in Kathy Griffin: A Hell of a Story, set to drop in select theaters for one night on July 31st.

A rep for Cohen did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment. Cooper added he wished "nothing however good issues for her". Griffin said she felt betrayed by his actions and lack of support.
