Moana not Marijuana: Cake designer fired for wrong birthday cake

And that was what happened to the baker who due to a communication breakdown misheard marijuana for Moana and prepared the drug-themed birthday cake.

"I haven't had a chance to tell y'all about our experience this weekend with my birthday cake", she wrote.

Kensli Taylor Davis was soon having her 25th birthday and to celebrate her daughter's special day, her mother ordered her a Moana cake from the local bakery.

The fast food restaurant served up a cake with a giant marijuana leaf design, green icing and a My Little Pony-style character with bloodshot eyes and a puff of smoke.

Davis posted about the incident on Facebook, writing: "So my mama called and ordered me a cake telling them how much I loved Moana". "She walked by as I decorated the cake".

A statement from Dairy Queen said that their cake decorator designed the cake on the basis of what she thought she heard.

"The manager stood behind me while I pulled the images off the Internet", Walker said to USA Today.

Katrina's latest picture is winning hearts on social media and the five lakh likes within one hour on Instagram prove it. The handsome actress has over 24 million followers on social media app Instagram and her pics often go viral.

According to Kensli Davis, "The whole family thought it was the funniest thing ever and said it would definitely (be) a birthday to remember".

The photo of the green cake started being widely shared on social media earlier in the month when Ms Davis shared a photo of her birthday cake to Facebook. "The customer said it was fine, paid for the cake and left".

She also recalled speaking with Walker, the employee who made the cake. "She walked by as I decorated the cake".

"I think they thought that she said "marijuana" because we are from south Georgia and kind of have an accent".

"It's not amusing to me", Walker said in a phone interview with PEOPLE.

She was later offered her job back by a different manager but turned down the offer, USA Today reports. Walker was sacked on Monday, even though the mistake was her manager's decision. I have two little girls here.

"The lady who made my cake was apologetic and offered to make another one". Moana and Marijuana! Try saying these two words and you will find that they do appear a bit similar in hearing. But, their statement does not mention anything about Cassandra Walker being terminated for what Dairy Queen calls a "simple misunderstanding" in their statement.
