It looks like A$AP Rocky will be in jail in Sweden for at least another week after a judge in the country sided with prosecutors and granted them more time - until next Thursday, July 25, to be exact - on whether to indict the rapper on assault charges.

Mayers was detained on July 3 along with his bodyguard and two other members of his entourage in connection with a fight in a Stockholm city-center street in the early hours of June 30. The rapper is being held for alleged assault.

"Actually the one who knew about A$AP Rocky was our first lady", Trump said. They are friends of mine, the leadership. "We are hoping for justice in a fair trial". Many members of the African-American community have called me, friends of mine, and said can you help?

Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump said that he'd been alerted to the case by African American supporters, as well as by his wife.

"A$AP Rocky is a situation in Sweden".

The album Long.Live.A$AP was released in 2013 and went to number one on the Billboard 200 in its first week. "Right? She was telling me about".

"We're going to see", said Trump.

The highest temperature from that weather event, 45.9 degrees Celsius (114.6 degrees Fahrenheit), was observed in Gallargues-le-Montueux, France.

Kim Kardashian West, Diddy, Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes and Nicki Minaj are some of the celebrities who have shown public support for the Grammy-nominated Rocky.

Kardashian, who's become known in recent years for her work in prison reform, as well as husband Kanye West, reached out to Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump's son-in-law, after hearing that A$AP Rocky had been arrested for suspected aggravated assault, TMZ reports.

"We have worked intensively with the investigation and need more time, until Thursday next week in order to complete the preliminary investigation".

Prosecutors have until Friday morning to decide whether Rocky will be formally charged.

"Any time President Trump gets involved in anything, it brings a level of attention" to an issue that can not be matched by those who "don't have that cache or reach", Lanier said.

On July 9, a source close to the rapper told PEOPLE that the Swedish jail where A$AP Rocky was being held is "inhumane" and "horrific". A$AP Rocky's lawyer has called the fight a matter of self-defense, claiming that the two men "followed, harassed, and physically assaulted" his client.
