"At about 4 a.m. [Friday], a group of 47 undocumented individuals attempted to illegally enter the United States in three waves via the Pharr International Bridge".

Despite these concerns, Mexico is being given little choice in the matter, as threats to place tariffs on exports still exist if Mexico does not keep reducing the number of migrants going through Mexico to the USA border.

"Ignoring commands to quit, the neighborhood all straight away rushed the non permanent barricades, crooked metal poles and disabled the concertina wire affixed to the barrier", the legitimate acknowledged.

The lawmakers will "investigate, inspect, and evaluate conditions at the facilities on the southern border", according to a statement issued by Schumer's office Friday.

"Loads of males within the neighborhood brushed off commands to pause and physically pushed thru the barriers", the legitimate acknowledged. "When confronted by CBP officers, the combative individuals began assaulting the officers by punching, kicking, and attempting to grab the officers' protective devices".

In all, authorities apprehended 16 individuals, two of which were charged with interference, KGBT reported.

We're going to be seeing more of this in the near future. As Trump tightens control of the border, illegals will become more desperate.

A Trump administration policy forcing people to wait in Mexico means they don't get an interview with an asylum officer for months.

The new rule, which went into effect earlier this week, is meant to limit the influx of asylum-seeking migrants arriving on the United States border.

It appears that the policy of forcing migrants to remain outside of the country instead of being briefly detained and released into the USA has been a success. Mexican Ambassador to the U.S., Martha Bárcena, made her opinions known in a public statement last week, saying that increasing the speed of the immigration process is essential because migrants can not simply wait for years in Mexico for U.S. action.

The Trump administration has mandated that asylum seekers remain in Mexico while their cases are heard in an effort to slow the flow of mostly Central American migrants to the southern border.

Brownville is located in the Rio Grande Valley, which sees the largest amount of migrant crossings for asylum. Other cities in the region were not immediately included in the expansion. "We have an ongoing humanitarian and security crisis and now is not the time to play politics - it's a time to come together". Of course, the open borders crowd don't care about that.

But the border incident on Saturday shows the crisis is far from over.
