Fans of Netflix original series Stranger Things 3 better hold on to their baseball caps and radio their best pals this weekend, as there's a taste of the popular series coming to the Kent coast. The numbers the streaming service have touted for Stranger Things 3 are astronomical, but Netflix's top-secret numbers need to be taken with several grains of salt; they'll never tell you when a show flops, but they'll let you know when a show was streamed into eleventy-trillion households plus a couple on the moon.

"[Stranger Things 3] is breaking Netflix records!" And 18.2 million have already finished the entire season. Netflix hasn't said. Is that 18.2 million number an unusually high completion rate? Netflix's Twitter account posted.

This week, Netflix announced some startling statistics.

The first episode of the series' second season, which debuted in October 2017, had an average of 15.8 million viewers, according to Deadline. The show's new season sees stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard and more stars returning for more interdimensional action.
