"Somebody's broke into the house in L.A., took my dog from the house", Sturridge said in an appeal video sent exclusively to ESPN. I'll pay anything, I'm dead serious.

"I want to know who took my [expletive]". I want to know what went on. I wanna know why they took my dog.

He added: "I wanna know why they've took bags from upstairs". And if you are let me know and I'll pay more than them.

An English soccer player took to Instagram early Tuesday morning to plead for the return of his dog that was apparently stolen from a West Hollywood home in a burglary.

The former Liverpool star came back home only to find out his dog was stolen and some items including bags were also stolen. "I'll pay anything", The Sun UK reported. "I want my dog back".

Sturridge who is a free agent after leaving Liverpool last season took to Instagram to share the news.

"Whoever brings my dog back, 20 grand, 30 grand, whatever". It doesn't matter the cost.

Sturridge said he left his home for a few hours late Monday, and at some point a group of burglars smashed in a glass door to gain access into his home.

In the Instagram video, the striker also shares the address of his mansion while calling for the Pomeranian to be returned.
