'Teen Mom' Amber Portwood Arrested for Domestic Battery

Portwood, a star of the original version of the MTV show, was arrested Friday morning in her home state of in on a charge of domestic battery, according to online records. "Officers spoke to the male victim who stated his live-in-girlfriend and he were having a disagreement", Indianapolis Metropolitan Police said in a statement. "During which time the female, later identified as Amber Portwood, assaulted him, while he was holding their 1-year-old child".

HollywoodLife has obtained Teen Mom star Amber Portwood's mugshot, following her July 5 arrest on felony domestic battery charges. Per protocol, police have not released the name of the victim, however, PageSix reported that the MTV star allegedly attacked her boyfriend, Andrew Glennon.

Portwood is charged with domestic battery in the presence of a child under 16, according to the incident report.

Portwood has been living with her boyfriend, Andrew Glennon, and they share a son named James, who was born on May 8, 2018. Together they have 10-year-old daughter Leah whom Gary has had full custody of since 2011. She actually had a choice of prison vs. rehab. she chose prison. She also suffered from severe postpartum depression after her son's birth, and admitted she had contemplated suicide.

The Teen Mom OG star added, "And for all the questions and concerns Leah was/is now camping with her best friend". In 2012, Amber served 17 months behind bars for an unrelated incident. "And for some odd reason, he could feel it and he was like, 'I'm not going to bed'".
