'The Expanse' Season 4: Premiere Date, Teaser Trailer & First Footage Unveiled By Amazon

The Expanse is by far my most favourite series of sci-fi novels at the moment, and to see the critically-acclaimed TV series adaptation being cut short soon after it had truly found its voice and shown audiences just how incredible it could be straight-up broke my heart. Luckily, Jeff Bezos was there to pick up the pieces.

Fans of the science fiction series The Expanse pulled out all the stops when the Syfy channel cancelled the show a year ago, and their passion paid off in a big way: after flying a #SaveTheExpanse banner over Amazon headquarters, Amazon Prime Video snatched the show from the jaws of oblivion and renewed it for a fourth season.

Season 4 of The Expanse is its first as a global Amazon Original following its cancellation by Syfy.

During its Comic-Con panel, Amazon also unveiled a six-minute clip from The Expanse season 4 featuring the Rocinante crew landing on a new planet called Ilus, and the streaming service was kind enough to release it on the Internet for everyone.

Trump 'felt a little badly' about 'send her back' chants at rally
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) have regularly criticized Trump as he has ratcheted up the attacks on them in recent days. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Ayanna Pressley of MA and Rashida Tlaib of MI .

"With the Ring Gates now open to thousands of new planets, a blood-soaked gold rush begins, igniting new conflicts between Earth, Mars, and the Belt".

Along with the launch date, fans were also treated to the first teaser for the upcoming season - watch that above - plus a full, very cool scene from the upcoming season. While Earthers, Martians and Belters maneuver to colonize Ilus, the first of these planets, larger dangers await the explorers. A landfall far more hard for space-born belter Naomi than the rest of the crew.

Oye, Belters: " The Expanse" Season 4 is real, and it has a release date: The acclaimed science fiction series will launch globally December 13 on Amazon Prime.
