Top Gun: Maverick Trailer Reaction & Review
A trailer for the revival of the Top Gun series, Top Gun: Maverick, dropped online Friday morning to coincide with the opening of San Diego Comic Con.
Cruise's Maverick appears to be the same stubborn, cocky fighter pilot, albeit considerably older.
Top Gun premiered more than 30 years ago, but Mitchell's legacy lives on and as the trailer shows, he's not ready to retire or stop flying anytime soon, Deadline noted. And those aerial shots?
The movie will also feature original star Val Kilmer, who will reprise his role of Tom "Iceman" Kazansky, now a commander at the school.
Viagogo suspended from advertising on Google
The CMA launched legal action against Viagogo in August past year over worries that it could be breaking consumer-protection law. Industry body UK Music has been among the organisations encouraging Google to take this step for some time.
The movie, which is a sequel to 1986's "Top Gun", is set to hit theaters sometime next summer. This film was directed by Joseph Kosinski. "Maybe so, sir. But not today".
They talked about this movie for so long, I honestly didn't think it was going to happen. So it's incredibly hi-def. And it's mostly practical.
"I felt it was my responsibility to deliver for you", Cruise told the crowd, tugging local heartstrings by reminiscing on the original Top Gun shoot in Downtown San Diego. I still haven't recovered from Goose's death in the original. The upcoming film, slated for release on June 26, 2020 in the USA, is likely entering the final stages of its production phase before going to post-production and editing. Until then, we'll just have to make due with the kickass trailer seen above - and the snazzy poster that came with it, of course.
