Trump 'felt a little badly' about 'send her back' chants at rally

"I disagree with it". "I believe he is fascist".

Omar received a very different reception when she returned home to Minnesota Thursday night and was greeted by crowds of supporters at the airport.

The statement Thursday also alluded to statements by two of the congresswoman Trump has named, Rashida Tlaib of MI and Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, that have insinuated dual loyalties by advocates for Israel.

The quartet - all United States citizens and all but one born in America - openly call for Trump's impeachment and accuse him of enflaming racial and ethnic tensions. In a series of tweets, the president said the women should "go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came". "I didn't like that they did it, and I started speaking quickly". Over half of voters, 55 percent, say he has shifted the tone of political rhetoric for the worse, and only 24 percent say he has shifted it in a positive direction, according to the poll.

"I was not happy when I heard that chant", he said.

Despite the uproar over his comments, condemned as "racist" by the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives, Trump exposed the "Squad" congresswomen's past anti-semitic and anti-American comments at a rally in North Carolina on Wednesday, where the chants broke out.

The taunt's target- Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota - responded defiantly Thursday. "A vote for any Democrat in 2020 is a vote for the rise of radical socialism and the destruction of the American Dream - frankly, the destruction of our country". "He thinks this is a way to get them riled up now".

Iran to give no quarter in stand-off with U.S.: supreme leader
The hope of most countries is that the USA decides to resume talks with Iran and encourage Iran to limit its uranium enrichment. A year later, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani announced that Tehran was scaling back some of its commitments under the JCPOA.

Republican reaction has been more muted but some spoke out. She subsequently apologized to Jewish groups for some of her comments. Meanwhile, some Democratic lawmakers are calling on authorities to evaluate security for Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and three other female House Representatives, saying their lives could be in danger after the President's provocative remarks.

Omar, along with three other progressive congresswomen, argued with congressional Democratic leaders over the treatment of migrants at the U.S.

Omar, a Somalian national who is now an American citizen, and her close allies such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) have regularly criticized Trump as he has ratcheted up the attacks on them in recent days.

FILE - From left, U.S. Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Ayanna Pressley of MA and Rashida Tlaib of MI. Tippett explained that the president's rhetoric would make it hard to argue that a similar comment was made innocuously or out of ignorance of its racist connotations.

But after Trump vilified the four with his "go back" to their countries demand, Pelosi led the fight to condemn Trump's language as racist.

She is proposing a resolution defending the pro-Palestinian boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel. "Because we have the most divisive president [and] we're living in historically traumatising times.so many people are rising up, to not only resist the detrimental policies that are coming from this administration, but to also insist on having the America we all know we deserve", she says.
