Peter Thiel says CIA and FBI should investigate Google

"He accuses Google of working with the Chinese government".

President Donald Trump said his administration will "take a look" at businessman Peter Thiel's allegations that Google's work with China is "seemingly treasonous".

In a rare television interview, Thiel said Monday night that Warren, a MA senator, was the only Democrat talking about important issues like the economy.

All of this also comes at a time when Big Tech remains in the legislative crosshairs, with everyone from Trump to presidential contenders like Elizabeth Warren agitating for Washington to do more to rein in companies like Facebook and Google.

Trump said that Peter Thiel, who made the accusation, is "a great and brilliant guy who knows this subject better than anyone!". "The Trump Administration will take a look!".

"Number one: How many foreign intelligence agencies have infiltrated your Manhattan Project for AI (artificial intelligence)?"

"As we have said before, we do not work with the Chinese military", Google said in a statement on Tuesday.

There are no public reports that foreign intelligence agencies have infiltrated Google, though Thiel did start the company Palantir, which now works with the Trump regime and has amassed an enormous amount of data on USA citizens.

Ryanair plans to cut services over Boeing 737 crisis
On Sunday, American Airlines said it was extending for a fourth time cancellations of about 115 daily flights. The group said it hopes to "restore our growth to normal levels in summer 2021".

Thiel - who is a Facebook Inc. board member and a co-founder of data-mining firm Palantir Technologies Inc., which helps government agencies monitor people - singled out Google in his speech.

"Does Google's senior management consider itself to have been thoroughly infiltrated by Chinese intelligence?"

Thiel, a long-time Trump supporter, is not the only public figure to have raised alarm about Google's alleged ties to the Chinese military.

A Google official claimed the company does not work with the Chinese military.

The conference's four keynote speakers include Thiel, national security advisor John Bolton, white supremacist talk show host Tucker Carlson, and Senator Josh Hawley from Missouri.

Google pulled its search engine from China in 2010 to protest efforts by Beijing to censor its search results.

Just months earlier, Trump met with Google's boss Sundar Pichai to discuss whether the company had been helping China's armed forces.
