WATCH Chinese Wave Pool Turns into Tsunami Pool Injures Dozens

The Yulong Shuiyun Water Amusement Park is located in the city of Longjing near the border with North Korea.

Footage taken by visitors shows swimmers deep inside the pool suddenly faced with a torrent of incoming water produced by the wave machine.

It then sweeps away the tourists and flips them upside down in the chaos.

Those standing outside the wave pool can be seen running for their lives as they realise the giant wave is going to splash over the barrier.

The park's official statement is at odds with the tally of injuries being reported.

The actress will also be seen talking about the fittest actor in Bollywood, according to her. I had only Rs 3000 in my wallet that day and I was too embarrassed to take him out.

Video shared on social media shows the moment the machine generated the enormous wave, turning a relaxing afternoon at the pool into a bloody nightmare with screaming adults and crying children.

Afterward, a park spokesman blamed the incident on an equipment "malfunction", adding that only around 10 people had been hurt and that the pool would reopen the following day. "It was caused by a mechanical fault", said a park official. "It's already been fixed and will be open tomorrow".

It is unclear whether the injured tourists were refunded their tickets, which cost 98 RMB (£11.70).

The water park is billed as the biggest of its kind in the Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture in Jilin province and contains various attractions.
