Broncos training camp Live updates from Day 18 of practice

That was Jimmy Garoppolo's return for the San Francisco 49ers in Monday's preseason game against the Denver Broncos, his comeback from a torn ACL.

Lock was hurt early in the third quarter of Monday night's preseason loss to San Francisco.

"Richburg, we're hoping the Chargers week where he can get out and practice a little bit", Shanahan said.

Although more players suited up than did during the first preseason game, many key players sat out, including the majority of the starting defensive line and star tight end George Kittle - so plenty of opportunities were there for the taking. Then came a tipped pass and two more incompletions before Garappolo finally hooked up with running back Matt Breida on a screen pass. It is what it is. "It is what it is now and you got to take it in stride".

Cristiano Ronaldo admitted to paying $375000 to settle Las Vegas rape allegation
However, now according to reports in TMZ , Ronaldo's lawyers have accepted that €375k was paid. But once again, my innocence has been proven.

The 49ers signed Garoppolo to a five-year, $137 million contract in 2018 after he posted a 5-0 record as a starter in final five games of the 2017 season. Garoppolo tore his ACL in Week 3 last season and is still working his way back.

His first four throws were all touched by Denver Broncos defenders, either tipped, picked or nearly picked.

"It's something I haven't done in a year, so I've got to knock the rust off and everything". He threw five straight interceptions during a practice last week. Clearly he was rusty, and some of his throws weren't good during his three series on the field.

49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan cleared up a small mystery from the second preseason game. The more he can play, the better. After the game, Garappolo admitted to being frustrated but called the game his "first step of getting back into it".
