The Morning Show Trailer Has It All, From Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon Facing Off to Steve Carell's Breakdown

The trailer begins with Aniston's morning show host revealing the firing of her co-anchor (Carell) over sexual misconduct allegations, which kicks off a series of events that leads to Aniston's character being threatened with the end of her career after the emergence of a rising star in Witherspoon's idealistic reporter.

We got a closer look on Monday at Apple's upcoming show, "The Morning Show", and eagle-eyed viewers have noticed something familiar about the show's logo: it's very similar to that of The Boring Company, Tesla CEO Elon Musk's tunnelling and construction business. Thus opens a Pandora's box of stories that will be woven throughout the series.

Social media has been quick to jump all over the fact that The Morning Show trailer is tuned to Supertramp's "Goodbye Stranger", an interesting choice considering Carell's Michael Scott famously parodied the song with "Goodbye Toby", his enthusiastic send-off to his HR nemesis in The Office season 4 finale. She is certainly not playing Rachel Green in her new TV role.

"The part you guys never seem to realize is you don't have the power anymore, and frankly, I've let you bozos handle this long enough". A team effort between her production company Echo Films and Witherspoon's Hello Sunshine, the 10-episode series is set to debut on Apple TV+ in the fall. "We are doing this my way".
